Owing to a working one or two light sets before you begin your workout, you will prepare your muscles to the further movement and reduce your chances of injury.

Many bodybuilders are consistent with a certain intensity principle known as “Pyramiding”. This principle means that they begin their workouts with lighter weights and higher reps, and little by little move to heavier weights and lower reps.

If you try to use heavier weights with bad form, you will not get much out of the workout. Also, if you lift slightly lighter weights, by thrusting the barbell up and down at lighting speed, this will not only give you any results, but also increase your chances of injury.

Breathing

There are some arguments over whether or not you should exhale on the exertion or not. But you have to remember the most important thing: keep your breath controlled.
