It is beneficial to drink appropriate amount of fluids containing electrolytes before and after your workout. Also carbohydrate content in water can increase the rate of gastric emptying and improve hydration after your training.

1. It is necessary to drink water in the morning and overnight. Morning hydration will assist in your digestive system during your breakfast. Drink a cup of water before or during your breakfast.
2. Drink water before your meals. In order to improve the digestion drink fluid 30-45 minutes before your meal.
3. Take a cup of water throughout the day. It helps preserve the optimal level of fluid in your body and fight your hunger.
4. Drink fluid before your workout. The proper amount is 250-500 ml about 20 minutes before your exercise. It helps you maintain hydration during the intense workout.
5. If you sip water during your training it will keep your body hydrated and augments your muscles.
6. Consume fluid before you go to bed. It may be uncomfortable for you to wake up during the night but it is very useful to drink a cup of water before bed time in order to maintain the functions of your body.
7. After alcohol. Serving as a diuretic alcohol can increase the excretion of your body. That’s why you are suggested to drink a pint of water before you go to bed. (when you are back from a bar or a club). It is also useful for decreasing severe hangover.
